Originally
established in 1918 by two young men returning from service
in World War I, Bishop, Barry, Howe, Haney & Ryder
today is a mid-sized firm representing the interests of
insurers throughout California and other states across the
country. The firm is located just across the bay from San
Francisco, in Emeryville, California.
The
attorneys of Bishop, Barry, Howe, Haney & Ryder

Martindale-Hubbell's highest peer rating of A-V. We pride
ourselves in a common-sense approach that protects our clients'
interests while keeping costs at manageable levels. Our
primary interest has always been, and continues to be, the

decades of experience, the firm has weathered the shifting
